Summer nets down, winter tennis on hold

Thank you to the volunteers and board members who came out to take down the windscreens and nets to close down Davisville’s courts for the 2020 season. Keep watch here and in your e-mail in-box for updates if and when winter tennis can be resumed. In the meantime, stay safe, everyone.

Winter Tennis dates and details

As always, we like to offer our members a chance to play tennis during the off season. As in the past few years, we managed to secure 5 courts at Mayfair West, some Saturdays starting with November 7th 2020. These sessions start at 7.30 pm and last for 2 hours. Registrations will be made online through our CourtReserve system by accessing your profile and then sign up via Events. Each event will be available for booking at 7,30pm on the Monday before the event. Payment ($20 per person per session) will be required at the sign up time. We will also have a waitlist available for each event. Once signed up, you will receive an email the night before with instructions and details. Each session will be run as a doubles Round Robin. We will try our hardest to start people on a court with players of same tennis level. These events are available for our regular members. If they do not fill up by Friday morning, we will open up to our Daytime members. Dates: Nov 7 , 21 ,28 Dec 12, 26 Jan 2, 16, 23, 30 Feb 13, 20, 27 March 6, 20, 27 April 3, 10, 17.   For more information you can contact Nina at pd@davisvilletennisclub.com
