Round robins, House League, tournaments and ladders are back!

Three new round robins are coming up shortly. We are thrilled to be able to bring back House League, our own spirited in-house team competition, and begin a season of tournaments to crown new champions! As of now, we have not been given the go-ahead for instructional tennis. That means we cannot start any clinics or other lessons yet. It also means that rating sessions are on hold, too. But we’re ready to roll as soon as we get the green light.

The 2021 season is finally here!

As of 8am Saturday May 22nd, our gates have opened! It was a mad dash to get everything in order, but we managed. As always, the board is very happy to see our members back on courts, and although the tennis played right now is a bit rough, we will all be ready very soon for those fantastic tournaments coming up in July! This season we are happy to announce that a team of experienced court stewards (Mason, Stephen, Nikki) and some new ones (Thomas and Simon) will take care of our club and will also make sure that all Covid protocols will be followed. Say Hello! to them when you arrive at the courts for check-in, to sign your Covid waiver and to get your new shoe tag. Our tennis pro, Brian Ahlberg is back, running juniors day-camps for now, with more instructional programs to be added as soon as the city allows him to do so. Once he gets the go ahead, we will post all his programs on our site, just come back for more information. We hope to add more programs (like more round robins, social tennis, house league and such) as things open up a little bit more. Our weekly newsletters will provide more information. New this year: all adult daytime and regular members will receive shoe tags. Make sure to grab yours at the club house. Shoe tags will identify you as club member and will distinguish between the two types of membership (we have purple tags for regular members and yellow tags for daytime members). Again, welcome back and Let the Games Begin!
